Students 13 - 19 years as of June 1, 2008
Mondays 5:30 - 8pm,Wednesdays 4-6:45pm,Fridays 6-8:45 pm 40 hours of training $280
This summer intensive will be a combination of technique in dances such as Swing, Tango, Salsa, Lindy Hop, Charleston, as well as performance aerials, physical strength and endurance training, and performance and competition training.
Acceptance to the program will be based upon lead/follow balance. 14 students maximum.
Students will be expected to come prepared to dance for the entire class period. Sessions will include Social dance skills as well as strength training, flexibilty and endurance.
The Summer intensive will culminate with an optional performance at a Galaxie Date Nite.

These scholarships will allow students to train during the summer program for free.
All auditioning students will be eligible for these scholarship.
Students are asked to register for the auditions by e-mailing us at JC2@galaxiechicago.com to receive an audition time.
Auditions will include a warm up period, a group lesson and private audition times where students are asked to demonstrate any performance based audition piece they wish.
Again, all students must register for a time slot for the private audition.
Auditions will be held Sunday June 8 beginning at 11 am
